If she can't use your comb, don't bring her home

Take this...

Add equal parts ghetto and fabulous

And you get this...

(Note: Two naughty words - one shortly after the Hispanic guy shows up, one shortly after Jerome is introduced)

You're welcome

PS: Bougie - Anything that is perceived as "upscale" from a blue-collar point of view. Bougie (pronounced boo'-she) is a hacked truncation of the word Bourgeoisie, which refers to the middle-class in Europe, but refers to a more affluent class level in the United States. -Urban Dictionary

Conversation at work today...

Coworker: Jenn, do you want to try something that may sound gross but I promise it isn't?
Me: Um, sure?
Coworker: Okay, it's plain yogurt, whipped cream, and Funfetti cake batter, but not with eggs or anything, just the powder batter stuff, and you mix it all together and dip Nilla Wafers in it.
Me: That doesn't sound gross, it sounds good!
Coworker: I know you like sweets, so that's why I asked.

It's good to know that this coworker validates my sugar cravings and that I can successfully help build an argument for plain-yogurt-whipped-cream-Funfetti-cake-batter-powder dip of deliciousness. If she gives me the recipe I'll share it here for you to try too!

Unrelated, but I'm totally digging this song right now...

Yes, we are moving to a 3-bedroom apartment. No, I am not pregnant

No one's asked, but I'm just telling you all right now. Our new place is bigger, cheaper, and we're surrounded by friends. Plus, our front yard is a park and our backyard is a grocery store. Not too shabby!

We officially move in next week, so we're just taking over little things for now. I'm so anxious to get in there and settle in and decorate! Pictures to come...

Merci Beaucoup

One of the doctors I support is traveling to Paris in a few weeks for a conference. Before I booked the hotel over there, he wanted to know what hours breakfast is served. I e-mailed guest services and this is how they addressed the reply...

Speaking of French...
